Combining an ear-piercing 138+ decibel sound output deters and confuses the attacker and highlights public attention to the situation and the UV marker spray leaves an identifying mark to help with the apprehension of any assailant. The ALERT personal alarm is operated by ‘lightly’ pressing down on the cap for a short blast or ‘firmly’ pressing down locks the cap down to produce a continuous output even if dropped to the ground operating at any angle, even upside down.
